Nicole’s leadership extends across various boards, as President of l’Association francophone des municipalités de l’Ontario, l’Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens Nord-Est catholique, le Centre de santé communautaire de Kapuskasing et région and the radio communautaire KapNord  (CKGN), also as Treasurer of the Alliance for Healthy Communities.

A tireless defender of Francophone language rights, Nicole has worked to ensure equitable access to healthcare, justice and the rights for Indigenous people for Northern communities. She has a proven track record of supporting long-term care for seniors, organizing vibrant community festivals, and promoting sustainable local development.

Born in Opasatika and raised in Moonbeam, Nicole deeply connects to the people and regions of the North. She and her husband, Yves, have raised three sons—Pascal, Sylvain, and Sébastien—and are proud grandparents to seven grandchildren.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, camping, snowshoeing, and exploring the natural beauty of the North. Her passion, leadership, and experience make her a powerful advocate for workers, families, and communities across the region.
